Special Occasion Candles

Special occasion candles and candleholders can be designed with elegant ornate or plain distinctions.

When using lighted candles for special occasions you always have to be careful of where you place them and keep a careful watch on them because of the real risk of fire. Even if it isn't a special occasion, a lighted candle left unattended can ignite fabric with disastrous results. Certain religions leave candles burning for religious ceremonies and purposes, while others because of the threat of fire
have discontinued the practice.

The last thing a bride wants her wedding remembered for is going up in flames. However, because candles are often a very important part of the wedding ceremony and or reception, care should be given to the placement of the candles as well as consideration of using protective globes to protect against the flame. Special occasion candles and candleholders can be designed with elegant ornate or plain distinctions. For weddings and receptions, candles can be ordered from suppliers the wedding date imprinted on the candles or sometimes engraved onto the candleholder with the bride and grooms first names.

Do not think however, that candles need to be preprinted in order to qualify for use during special occasions. Tapers, for instance, have been used for centuries as a traditional part of important ceremonies, such as candlelight processions and visuals. However, this can prove hazardous particularly when children are part of the event. Battery-operated candles (with LED bulbs) are much safer and should be used especially with large crowds and when children are present.
